In 1860 the celebrated author Wilkie Collins lived at Number 12 Harley Street – sadly that No. 12 is now demolished but there is a new 12 Harley Street and it is a superb example of Georgian architecture. It is also one of the few buildings in Harley Street NOT owned by the Howard de Walden Estate.
The freehold of 12 Harley Street is owned by Harley Street Freeholders and is an established, professionally run business centre whose tenants are mainly but not exclusively associated with the medical or healthcare professions.
