Everyone deserves to be treated with care and sensitivity and I make every effort to see you within 24 hours of your call.” Dr. Richard D. Casson

The Central London Dental Practice

Doctor Richard Casson started his West End London dental practice over twenty years ago after several years of practical and scientific training in the field of dentistry. After qualifying in Glasgow, Dr Casson worked in Oral surgery where his interest in patient care, and their dental related anxieties, led him to set up a special clinic for nervous patients in the hospital's professorial unit.

Having dealt with patients' anxieties resulting from past experiences, Richard determined to create a different kind of dental experience and assist patients to become relaxed and at ease.

Veneers, Crowns and Bridges

  • Veneers are a thin layer of material bonded to your existing teeth. They can fill in gaps, correct the appearance of small or misshapen teeth, and cover up cracks or discolorations of the teeth.
  • Crowns, porcelain bonded to zirconium, crowns (or caps), create a brilliant, lifelike look. Dental porcelain crowns are used to cover heavily filled, ugly broken down teeth.
  • Bridges are used to fill gaps where teeth are missing or are unavoidably lost. They are also made with porcelain, bonded to zirconium, and are permanently fixed in place.

Dental Implants

Dental implants can make you feel confident about smiling again by providing replacement teeth that look and feel very natural. They are more than just an alternative to dentures and bridges and can be used to replace several teeth or just one singe tooth. These also help to preserve the bone and prevent the deterioration of the facial structure.

Dental Hygiene

Effective hygiene is vital for keeping teeth and gums in a healthy condition. There is a strong link between gum disease and heart disease. Maintaining good oral health makes a major contribution to enjoying a healthier and happier life.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder

TMJ stands for ‘temporomandibular joint’, or jaw joint. These are the joints in front of each ear that attach the lower jaw to the skull. In most cases TMD means that the lower jaw does not sit correctly in the joint. It can cause a variety of problems including headaches, grinding of teeth, clicking of the jaw, deafness, dizziness, vertigo and tinnitus.

Snoring & Sleep Apnoea

Snoring can be annoying and antisocial as well as affecting the quality of your sleep, the effective absorption of oxygen and therefore the levels of oxygen in your blood - particularly the flow of oxygen to your brain.
