Tena Walters MS FRCS qualified in 1983 from The Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital, London and has been a London Breast Clinic Consultant since 1997. She now works full time in the independent sector having previously been Lead Clinician in the Breast Unit as well as Lead Clinician in Oncology at Queen Marys Hospital, Sidcup. She was proxima asset in the Oncology award in the Hospital Doctor of the Year 2002. The performance of her Breast Unit at Queen Mary Hospital resulted in the award of NHS Champion in 2004 Evening Standard Awards.
She is actively involved in research studies and trials at Queen Marys Hospital. Her special interest include HRT and effects on breast tissues, management of benign breast change and breast pain, and early diagnosis and management of malignant disease.
Since 1997 she has been part of the specialist team at the London Breast Clinic in 108 Harley Street.
