Mr Rajan Uppal is a Consultant Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon practising at clinics and private hospitals in London and Windsor. He specialises in a wide variety of cosmetic and aesthetic procedures such as facial surgery, facelifts, eyelid surgery, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, hand surgery, tummy tuck, liposuction and non surgical fillers & Botox.

Mr Uppal is an experienced Plastic Surgeon and a Full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He is a Tutor of Rhinoplasty and has established a course for surgeons wishing to learn this technique. He also lectures on Rhinoplasty at International meetings including the BAAPS annual conference. 

A highly experienced and qualified cosmetic surgeon

Mr Uppal went to medical school at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, London. He qualified in Medicine and Surgery in 1993 and was awarded a Prize in Pharmacology at his final examinations at the University of London.

He became a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 following completion of his junior surgical training. He went on to pursue his interest in research and undertook a clinical trial of a new medicine that improved wound healing. He was awarded a Master of Science (MSc) degree at University College London for this thesis in 1999. His work was published in medical journals in the United States.

Mr Uppal has worked in teaching hospitals in London including Guys and St Thomas' Hospital, St Bartholomew's Hospital and St George's Hospital. He has been fortunate to work with many leading surgeons in the UK, US and Europe. He was made a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery FRCS(Plast) as a result of his experience and work.  

International experience

Mr Uppal has spent three months living and working in Belgium to further specialise in his sub specialty interest of Breast Cancer Reconstruction. He has travelled to meetings in France, Belgium, Italy and the US to keep up to date with the latest techniques and continues to do so.
