A consultant neurologist in Harley Street, London, Surrey and Kent specialising in neurological disease with particular interest in emergency neurology, cerebrovascular disease and movement disorders.
With a broad experience in neurology and a special interest in emergency neurology, cerebrovascular disease, movement disorders and botulinum injection for dystonia, Dr Weeks sees private patients in the
Guthrie Clinic at King's College Hospital, in his
Harley Street clinic, and in a number of private hospitals in London, Croydon and Kent.
He was appointed to the GMC specialist register for neurology in 1999 and he has conducted neurological research training at the Hammersmith Hospital and in the prestigious National Institutes of Health in the United States. He was awarded a PhD in Clinical Neurosciences by Imperial College and has been published extensively in a number of important areas in neurology and clinical neurosciences.
He is one of the very few neurologists in London whose NHS work is based full time at the neuroscience centre and he has also been the lead clinician for the neurology department for the last six years. In September 2006 he organised the
Association of British Neurologists meeting on behalf of King's.
