Dr Abuobieda Attalla is a Consultant Psychiatrist at The Westlake Clinic in London's Harley Street who specialises in mental health problems and is trained to deal with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders such as stress, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias and panic, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, chronic pain syndrome, insomnia, alcohol and drug addiction, and psychosexual problems.

Dr Attalla, MRCPsych, DPM, has worked as a consultant in Ireland and in the Middle East, and has four years' experience at consultant grade with the NHS.

He undertook training in the Middle East, Ireland and England, where he obtained his membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Autumn 2004.  He is on the Specialist Register with the General Medical Council, the governing body for medicine.
