Harley Street, London and Kent based specialist in psychiatric problems such as the treatment of anxiety disorders, addictions, clinical depression, bipolar disorder, mental health aspects of physical illness and stress related disorders including occupational stress.

 
Dr Jeremy Royds MB, Ch.B, FFPsych (SA), MRCPsych, a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in both the NHS and private sector qualified at the University of Cape Town in 1976 and started his medical career as a General Practitioner in a rural African community.  After 7 years he returned to Cape Town where he specialised as a Psychiatrist in 1991.  He became a junior Consultant in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Cape Town with a special interest in Liaison Psychiatry – dealing with psychological problems that occur in medical and/or surgical settings.  He also had a private practice in Cape Town. 
 
He moved to Britain in 1999 and worked for some years in the NHS as a Consultant Psychiatrist.  He was appointed Royal College Tutor and Director of Medical Education, East Kent Community NHS Trust.  Dr Royds is now wholly committed to private practice and is based at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green, Sevenoaks.  
 
He continues to have a special interest in offering consultations in Liaison Psychiatry, the treatment of depression and anxiety, addictive disorders, OCD, phobias, medico-legal reports and occupational stress.  He consults from Classic Hospital St Saviour’s, Hythe, Spire Alexandra Hospital, Walderslade, Harley Street London, Bishopsgate in the City of London and Cygnet Hospital Godden Green, Sevenoaks
