Vinod Nargund: Consultant Urological and Laparoscopic Surgeon in London

Mr Vinod Nargund is a Consultant Urologist and Andrologist in London specialising in urological cancers, testicular diseases, male infertility, impotence and erectile dysfunction.

Vinod Nargund, MS PhD FRCS (UROL) FEBU, was trained in Urology Units at City Hospital Belfast, Royal Infirmary Bradford and Churchill and John Radcliffe Hospitals, Oxford.

Prior to his current appointment he was Honorary Senior Registrar/Lecturer in Surgery at the Oxford Radcliffe NHS Trust and the University of Oxford. He is specialised in urological cancers and testicular diseases.

Mr Nargund's training and experience in urology and cancer

He was trained in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery at Erasme University Hospital, Brussels and Oscar Lambret Cancer Centre at Lille, France. He spent sabbatical at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York for advancement of GU Cancer training.

He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching. He has been undergraduate and postgraduate examiner for University of London and served as member of court of examiners at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also a recognised teacher in the University of London.

His research interests include early diagnosis of genito-urinary cancer, prostatitis and minimally invasive management of urological cancers. He has guided research fellows for projects on bladder, prostate and testis cancers at Homerton and St. Bartholomew’s hospitals.
